Arturo Soto holds degrees in Film and Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design and an MFA in Photography, Video and Related Media from the School of Visual Arts.
In 2010 he received FONCA's Jovenes Creadores grant. His work is in the permanent collection of the Savannah College of Art and Design.
